Welcome! I am Georgie or Georgia, or even George! I don’t mind what variation you use. On this website you will find blog posts from my travels all over the world. My travel style is mostly outdoor based, I love hiking and trekking so many of my visits involve being outside!
The first country I ever travelled to was Cambodia in 2012. I volunteered in a small island village on Koh Rong island, clearing garbage in the town, and building metal structures to drop into the ocean for coral to have something to latch onto. It opened my eyes wide to how little I knew about the world, and how different life can be for other people. My curiosity was ignited and travelling has been a huge part of my life ever since.
I was born in Australia, and completed my bachelor degree there majoring in Marine and Freshwater Biology. I never pursued a career in this as I found myself moving around too much to commit to a long contract for a job. I now live in Canada when I am not travelling, where I plant trees for half of the year.
